LG announced the new Arena, a mid level phone, which is expected to be the flagship phone of the company for the year 2009. Although the company managed to keep most of its specifications secret until now, some of them were announced in a recent press release.

The LG Arena is supposed to feature a very dynamic and powerful S Class UI which will be highly competitive, making the touch phone stand out from everything else we knew so far. It will come with a 3D user interface and it will feature a 5-megapixel camera with video recording abilities, Wi-Fi for super fast internet connections, GPS and 3G.  It will be a GPRS,EDGE and UMTSHSDPA 1.8 Mbit mobile phone, with HSDPA 3.6 Mbit abilities.
LG Arena will come with a very functional media player, capable of reproducing all known audio formats , as well as fully compatible with digital video files such as  Real Video and DivX. It will feature a 3 inches and 262 144 colours TFT touch screen, a microSD memory slot and Stereo Bluetooth v.2.0 .
The size of the phone will be 105.9 x 55.3 x 11.9 mm and its weight will be 105gr with the Li-on battery.

Palm announced recently the latest smartphone Palm Pre, which is already established among the best of its kind. It is an internet-connected multimedia phone, featuring a multi-touch HVGA display screen with impressively vivid  24-bit colour and 320×480 resolution and a sliding QWERTY keyboard.

Palm Pre certainly stands out of all the other mobile phones you know so far, due to the impressive array of specifications and abilities. Orange is launching the new LG KS360 now in a pink colour.

Although it was originally designed for the Asian Market, as all LG Mobile phones LG launches the KS360 for the UK, with an appealing design especially for young people, aiming to make communication easier with the innovative and very functional sliding QWERTY keypad, that makes messaging, faster, easier and more fun. The LG KS360 is enhanced with features that allow the users to send instant messages, exchange SMS and send emails, but also to access easily the websites of the biggest social networks, such as Facebook and MySpace. Sliding the handset you get the smart QWERTY keypad , while the display rotates 90 degrees .
